Four Seasons

Four Seasons

A Poem by Soraya Austen

Summer.
She's the bubbly, carefree, loveable girl.
She brings happiness and sunshine to all.
She feels the joy around her.
How people are excited and happy.
She knows she is the hope for those around Winter.

Autumn.
She's a comforting, artsy, relaxed girl.
When she is around, people feel at peace.
She has a smile on her face all day long.
She feels the excitement of holidays to come.
She hears the kids playing in leaves,
Families taking walks, the carving of pumpkins.

Winter.
She seems cold, brutal, and cruel.
There is a hidden layer beneath her.
She brings joy too and excitement.
Holidays and snow, what a combo.
She feels the happiness of kids sledding.
She brings a smile to the rosy-faced people.

Spring.
She can be cold but can be warm hearted too.
She brings flowers to everyone.
Rain may come but rainbows too!
She feels the water splash on her from kids jumping in puddles.
She brings many emotions, but happiness is one of them!
