Dying

Dying

A Poem by BowKitty

I'm dead, dying, torn apart,
Cannot mend my broken heart,
Oh I'm such a sorry mess
Pain won't, can't stop... Unless...

If I died right here, right now,
That's the only way of how,
Everything can stop everything will leave!
No more crying cutting under my sleeve!

I am such a wreck inside
It's everything I try to hide,
Oh just let me die, die, die!
No more pain, no need to cry.

All it takes is one deep cut
To get me out of life's painful rut!
Let me go, let me go, let me go!
Let me go... Escape what you don't know!

One last strained breath
Then welcome death,
Then it's all over, no more pain
No more crying tears as rain.

Oh yes, yes, yes
Let me out of this mess!
Can't wait to go
Death comes too slow...
