A world of Love

I was reflecting on how a love once had, forever changes the mindscape of it's holder.

Memories lie at every corner
with a stop sign begging for me to sacrifice some time
and another sign warning me to keep moving.

Shared dreams, and goals litter the streets
blowing around and mingling in the wind
like the fallen pedals of a tree's flower.

Trees grown from the seeds you sewed
reaching for the sun
while setting roots deep into the ground.
So many trees, they create a forest of serenity
soaking up the sun and glowing with it's light.

The sun of my mind is my love for you  
Lighting my path and igniting my fire
when it dares to grow dim.

The moon of my mind is your love for me
creating tides of inspiration to crash on my beach
moving and bending my sands
into pictures of you and me and infinity

And I_ am forever surrounded by our love
and privileged to explore this world it has created in my mind
even if you are no longer by my side.
