Heartbeat

Heartbeat

A Poem by BreannaAutumn
"

dedicated to my brother's and his girlfriend's miscarriaged child

"
To the soul that came from heaven
you will always be a blessing
In disguise, you might be
but at one time your heart had beat

Your mother loved you very much
she knew she did at that first nudge
so packed tight in her womb
but in her heart there's always room

Your father was so happy
when he learned you'd be here
safe with him you'd always be
now even safer in his memories

Though we may not have known you
we knew you in our hearts
Beautiful you'll always be
no matter how fast we had to part

Heartbreaking and depressing... As a woman, I think I know just how losing a baby hurts so much. Unimaginable pain. The kind of hell no woman wants to go through.

A letter to a loved one gone too soon. Very impactful, very intricate and complex. Love it!
