A Poem by Brian Kraklau

its raining again, the taste of a morning cigarett burns in the cold wind as i wait, a little hung over from a long night of sedation, its now time to get buisy, god that hang over is killing, as if a million little midgets in my head, stomping on the ground within my brain, yelling down the dark alleyways, banging loudly within my ears, was that music loud lastnight or what, you shouldnt have at those brownies, deep inside you knew, stupid rain, so loud on the car as the radio comes to life, feeling as if in a middle of a musical war the tunes are off again, wow, what happened lastnight, oh well the engines on, time to go, time to light another, and begin work, the salt and grime cackle under the tires, look out theres another car.

Your talent is unique and your errors also prove that you are unique, very good write one of your best ones yet. This one actually flowed quiet well and was quiet less mind boggling then some of you other pieces of work.

Modern prose is baffling for me. I still need capital letters, accurate spelling, punctuation, particularly full stops. I was exhausted reading this without taking a breath! There is a thread of good ideas running through this piece. However I found them weaked by the old fashioned errors. There is talent in it somewhere.

It's nice to know what a hangover feels like...sigh. It was great, tons of details, although it felt more like a ministory than a poem, it still caught my attention and that's mainly what counts. Keep it up. :)

now here's a feeling i haven't had in a few years. haven't been able to allow myself to get drunk, and therefore not hung over. but this is a good description of how i remember feeling during my few hangovers.

I hate hangovers! Nice description of the painful reminder of how much fun it must have been the night before partying it up.

Tommy
