What Is It

What Is It

A Poem by Brittney
"

Meant to be interpretated in many ways. Each line is seperate yet connected. What Is. It? The underlying question.

"
What is it to invent?
To seamlessly convey a message
Shall I break glass without a stone
Or preach without a blessing

What is to believe?
To mindlessly speak a lesson
Shall I answer without a cause
Or condemn without redemption

What is it to create?
To effortlessly predict a presage
Shall I paint without a subject
Or self diagnose without dissection

The many talents of a writer
The IInd stanza's creative and kool showed some meaning ... depth of the reality in the poetic way. Everyone should gonnna ask onself "what is it'' before doing something. Great write once again.

Some intriguing questions here, Brittney

What is to believe
To mindlessly speak a lesson
Shall I answer without a cause
Or condemn without redemption

It's so easy in our society to do exactly this, without any thought to another's dignity or humanity...

A thoughtful piece, well done!
