Drain

Drain

A Poem by Broken.
"

Pour down why don't you

"

I find myself again
couched in the bathtub
of cursed water
watching it trickle down the drain
Such helpless water
Maybe I'll be sucked under
floating just above drowning
Saving time by wasting time
While I watch the water drain
Twirling into the small tornado
down the metal secret
connecting, disconnecting
drain the medicine
all of the medicine
Drain the hate
all the hate

Toy at your own risk
Stop toying with my emotions
your heard and I'm silenced
Walking delicately across the street
awaiting my fate at the other side
cornered breezes that don't touch me
the way I want you to
Your drained
down the drain
I hope you feel pain
Of that freezing shoulder of yours
Just shake it off
Mind you
you have more behind you
I'm lying to you
Silk grass warm to the touch
but its nothing close to your touch
whispering for the trees to tell you
Flowers taking the shape of you
peeling onto the swings
and the flowers swing beside me
this is my dream

So get out

God, I love this. It is so easy to imagine. I have felt that way so many times. I love these lines best:

"Saving time by wasting time
While I watch the water drain
Twirling into the small tornado
down the metal secret
connecting, disconnecting"

and

"Silk grass warm to the touch
but its nothing close to your touch
whispering for the trees to tell you
Flowers taking the shape of you
peeling onto the swings
and the flowers swing beside me
this is my dream

So get out"

Great poem. I will read it again and again...thanks for sharing.
