Far Away

He tells her,

no matter how far away,

she should always feel his love.

And she does,

but only for a moment.

The thoughts and questions that follow her,

unanswered.

They keep her awake at night.

When she gets lost,

she's far away,

hoping that happiness and peace,

will find her one day.

She's hopeless,

so hopeless,

but that is what keeps her alive.

She loves and loves,

and that has always been true.

Yet if he can feel her love,

why can't he feel her pain?

Far away its hard to understand,

but up close it's easy,

when she doesn't need words,

to describe how she's feeling.
