Anyone and Everyone

Anyone and Everyone

A Poem by Brooke, this is the otherside.

Happiness, joy;

Tears roll down your face;

Same routine for weeks.

The same last dream,

The one where I wake up and I’m alive.

These wall close you within,

The sunshine shining in.

You will be fine.

Here we are.

Let’s be like the trees;

Reach for the skies.

Everyone is working for this goal.

Equally measured in every way.

Unknown faces become friends.

Unwanted people become loved.

This will be fine.

Here we are.

While I find the first two lines of this to be somewhat steryotypical, the rest of the poem exhibits power which I commend you for. Once I got past those two first lines it seemed to flow and work rather well, so I'd suggest changing them but besides that it seemed to be a pretty perfect poem.
