People aren't dumb. Facades are an act of cowardice.

There's one thing you should know,

I do this every now and so,

Accept the fact I'm an idiot,

Dwelled for years,

"Why? Are you mad?"

No, just listless and disbelieving,

Normally I lack feeling,

Trained for years to see lies,

Filtered out the static,

Each and every lonely day.

"You are a man now. Go.

Make your own way."

What is that to mean?

It means stop being chicken-hearted.

Tell them you care.

Smile and make it seem,

That it wasn't done in vain.

Stupid little facts don't lie.

I'm not going to run.

I'm a man now.

I'll make it up somehow.


Don't believe in second guesses,

Whatever this is,

Its transparent.

I enjoyed the message behind this poem. It's so important to be willing and able to open up and share yourself, especially in the era of apathy.

Some really cool lines in here, but my favorite is: "It means stop being chicken-hearted." Great word choices there.

Yeah, this was something I meant my brain gets real irrational. I find the hardest thing for me to accept is people noticing me.
