A True Love is Redeeming.

A creature so small
To be sold as a slave.
Into a world,
Where men could get laid.

Nothing but torture,
Not a savior in sight.
But if only she knew,
He was there every night.

Not to get laid,
But to take her away.
Take her from hell,
And show her a way.

To show her a love,
that was pure and true.
The only thing he wanted,
Was for her to love him too.

Author's Note

The above quote is what I wrote the poem about. Redeeming Love is the only book I have read close to ten times. I don't know what makes me reread it. It's a touching book.
