Know That I Too
We are never alone (a poem for mental health month)
Hands of Time

Hands of Time

A Poem by Sequoia Copple

I wish that I could turn back the hands of time.

Back to the days when you were mine.

Then maybe I could stop you from moving so far away.

Because when you left I lost my mind.

I didn't know what to do.

Its like I was blind.

You were my light through this dark abyss.

Now that you're gone, I have no life,

There is no bliss.

You are the only one I could ever miss.

I wish that I could turn back the hands of time.

But I can't, you're gone, you're not mine.

So now I sit alone in the dark place,

And think about your handsome face.

All I do is sit and cry.

I will wait for you my love.

Until the day I die.
