Write My Tragedy in the Sand

Write My Tragedy in the Sand

A Poem by CSK

The symptoms are set,

But denial has come;

Fear beats within,

Unmasked and numb.

The gray sky is blue,

And your lover stays by;

Sunrise comes swiftly,

In the Eastern sky.

Left in an empty bottle,

If you don’t catch the wind;

Believe in your start,

Your heart’s on the mend.

No tears for your death,

The phoenix arises;

The sickness takes over,

You’re not in a crisis.

You’ve fallen again,

But God takes your hand;

Your heart is at sea,

Your soul in the sand.
