Monster in my nightmare

Just a little something i threw together to show someone how much i needed her yet hoe much every second tore me apart.

In the shadows of my empty head,

lay the monster in my dream

she waits to throw her fury out

at any sudden scream

she fights away my happy thoughts

and feeds apon my pain

my every ounce of suffering

is an extra ounce she'll gain

i try to ignore her presence

but her claws dig down so deep

then i find myself begging

my wounds to cease to weep

when i finaly stop the bleeding

the scars you cannot see

they're hidden in the shadows

they're up inside of me

she's the monster in my nightmare

the one that makes me bleed

she's the one i want to leave me

she's the one i also need

she's the monster in the shadows

just trying to find the light

my every ounce of suffering

is her every ounce of fright.

I love the rhyme scheme and the chosen words.I don't think it could've been better that this.Pretty descriptive about the pain and the feelings.I can't pick out my fav lines, I like 'em all!!!
