Autumnal Glow

Autumnal Glow

A Poem by Charlie's Enigmatic Wren

The autumn has come
and all the leaves, they are ablaze
in hues of red and cold,
flames, against the sun's warm rays.

Underneath Sol's watchful eye, I walk
amidst the fallen leaves, rustling in the breeze
And the scent of Autumn in the air,
as the Mother falls to her knees.

All around me
nature prepares to sleep
Spring and Summer held
in the Crone's frozen mystique.

And I wonder
the wounds man doth impart
will hibernation heal
Restoring Mother Nature's finest art.
