Rain and Sunshine

Rain and Sunshine

A Poem by C.M. Waters

Sunlight, oh so natural
Creates the blue sky
Clears out the darkness
So the blind may see once more
Creates heat
Which, in turn, creates sweat
Making one smelly
Too intense and one might faint

Rain, oh so natural,
Clouds cover the blue sky
Dark and gray
Gloomy, depressing
Delivers water
Grass grows green
Cools down the heat

Whatever nature delivers
We cannot control
We cannot change
We must blend in with nature
Learn to adjust
To whatever comes around
Look on the bright side
Of rain and sunshine

I like this. I have a thing about nature. It freaks me out that whether I live or die - whether I was born at all - it doesn't matter to nature. It doesn't make a difference to nature's plans at all.
Great poem. :)
