Death Contemplated

Death Contemplated

A Poem by Brian
"

A poem about death.

"

Where are the dead?
Where can they be found?
Is that over my head?
Should I look at the ground?

Did they ever live?
Should I take a second look?
When did they live?
Can I find there names in a book?

Were any like me?
Were they free?
How old did they live to be?
How big was there family tree?

Did they go to heaven or hell?
Or a sleep in the grave?
No one left to tell.
Of the life they gave.

One day I will die
But for now I will live with my sorrows
Try not to tell a lie
And look forward to all tomorrows.

nice cathartic expression, in a rhyme form. A lot of us don't really know where the dead go, I do, so if you have questions, come over, I will tell you. lol. nice job though.
