The Man Amongst The Cedar Trees

The Man Amongst The Cedar Trees

A Poem by CalebWinchester

A man amongst the cedar trees.
A man lost in the leaves.
A broken catastrophe; a voice lost in the wind..
It promises salvation for all those who've sinned.
Don't speak! You tell lies!
The voice again; broken lullabies.
Hear! Hear! Die! Die!
Again! Again! You lie! You lie!
CRUCIFY HIM! Crucify ME...
My blood rains down, look and see!
Ha! Ha! Just joking! Or... Was I not?
Shh! Here comes Judas. Yes, I know his plot.
Quiet! What DID I just say?!
Be calm child! It's all okay.
Walk with me to pierce this veil.
Your soul, I need, for resale.
Lucifer! Beelzebub! The man... amongst the trees.
Again, I say. The man lost in the leaves.
