I Am Myself

I Am Myself

A Poem by Candice A. Tinnon

I Bloom

To Others, This Spells Their Doom
However, I Shall Not Trip And Fall
I Shall Stand Tall
No Matter The Weather
No Matter How Clever The Flaming Doll

I Shine

In Such A Way
The Only Word To Describe
That I Can Find
Is The Word DEVINE

My Braids Sway
My Body Talks
The Speechless Smile
The Envy Frown

I AM

What I Am
Because I Know Who I Am
And Love Who I Am
And You See That I Am
Independent From What You Want To Think I Am

AM
Myself

Positive...

Spreading the true meaning of celebrating our uniqueness... This is another fabulous work, I think in this modern world we have forgot to celebrate our true self by taking the load of other people's expectations... Your poem truly says that we are all unique and special in our own ways... Brilliant concept...

Sincerely
