Heartache

Heartache isn't something I've felt in a while,

And I don't know why I'm feeling it now.

 

Love is a powerful force that's been following many people,

And I've finally found my chance at love...but I never knew it would be so painful.

 

I'm just a jealous woman...I can't help it,

And I would think that you'd pick me over your friends.

 

Bros before hoes I guess...

F*****g jackass.

 

Leave me here to rot with a mother who could care less nowadays,

And her disgusting boyfriend.

 

You know how I feel about my situation,

And all I ask is for your love.

 

All I ask is that you hold me for eternity,

Promise me you'll never let go...

 

I wouldn't know what I'd do without you,

Because "you complete me".

I hope this is a lesson learned not just a pain to be dealt with. Lessons learned leave us open. Pain confronted and absorbed can leave scars and make us cynical.

Here's the lesson - As a rule young guys want sex. When they get it they eventually get bored of the person giving it and move on. Got it?

Ouch, sometimes guys tend to take their friends more seriously. It happens. I'm sorry he went to go with his friends rather than staying with you. I mean, he probably could have brought you with him, right? Really well-written poem.

1. the "bros before hoes" theory among the male community is, in my opinion, a cover for closet homosexuality.

2. "you complete me" now reminds me of that one scene in "the dark knight."
