Success In My Pulse

Time fading away,

Footprints no longer cast.

Hair starting to grey,

Solidarity held fast.

 

A calm mind,

Body under control.

Emotions sound,

Everything untold.

 

I wish I could stay,

But I'm no longer needed.

I'll let the past decay,

Even if it's conceited.

 

Not out of fear,

Not from nerves.

With willpower clear,

And strength without words.

 

Confidence in the self,

No care for all else.

Achieving my goals,

Success in my pulse.

This was motivational. No matter what life throws at me, I will continue moving forward and I will succeed. I have my mind set on the task at hand and I will achieve my goals even if they kill me. I really liked this poem. Relatable and sensible. Great job!
