Love Reborn

Pain burns

deep within me

overwhelmed by longing

I drown in an endless sea

alone in the vastness

of time and space

with no one to hold on to

to rescue me

 

I float aimlessly

through a boundless universe

A lone soul encapsulated

in a pain that just wont go

 

A speck of light that glows

in a consuming darkness

A heartbeat of

life that struggles to grow

 

Then a flicker of hope

begins to break through

from my cocoon of darkness

I finally see you

 

The warmth of love

fights to be reborn

The breath of the spirit

reignites my soul

 

A scream escapes me

a warrior cry

Determined now to live

refusing to die

I break forth into freedom

with the power to fly

i really like these lines, most of your poems have this sweet pattren of starting gloomily and slowly find the light! hopfuly you found yours, maybe one day i'll find mine.
