Would Flicking on the light Release Her?

Would Flicking on the light Release Her?

A Poem by Caseypowers

She’s an all alone girl

I saw her standing there

In the dark window corner

Back-dropped by night sky

And wondered why

Such a young girl smoked

Long ash extending

While her head bowed in sorrow

And her forehead wrinkled in frustration

Her eyebrows raised in perplexities

One bare arm cradling her head

Like a dying baby

Other hand clutching a mug

Presumably filled with coffee or sick medicine

Her eyes closed unseeing

But not protecting from shadows of her mind

Keeping her in a perpetual bind

So many questions left unanswered, you give her depth with your carefully penned discription, the sorrows another feels always make us a little confused if they are not willing to share. Dark depressive but very well done, keep em' coming
