The sweetest things

The sweetest things

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Life is simple. Respect people. Religion should be private. Stay positive.

"
The sweetest thing

I have seen so many mysteries and  seen so much beauty.

I swam  in the Pacific ocean in the early spring storms. Riding my suicide board. I  felt so free and helpless. I felt so small but safe.

I stood at the Pinnacle on top of a mountain. I saw four states. The beauty of being  able to see so much.

I free-climbed the cliffs in the fault line of Northern California.  I sat with the Eagles.

I climbed to Old Castles in Germany. I felt the power and age of a once powerful people.

I stood at the Pyramids in Egypt. A strange feeling of loneliness overtook me.

I went to South and Central America. Stood at temples. I felt the power of the old Naguals.

My dream and vision were to see and try to understand all the different people.

In all my trips and meeting many kind souls in this world.

I learn all fathers and mothers love their children.

Everyone wants a warm bed and home to live in.

I never met a man or woman who wanted to die.

"I learn all fathers and mothers love their children.

Everyone wants a warm bed and home to live in.

I never met a man or woman who wanted to die." Coyote, this says it all....so true. There are many similiarities in every religion. Learning to accept others is so important. Beautifully written. Lydi**

I don't tend to be a fan of long lines, with more than one sentence included in them. This could very well be my own problem. I just think a poem is easier to take and to feel when it is broken down a bit from the point where you have this one.

here are some mistakes I think-

"I saw so many mysteries and seen so much beauty."- have seen?

"I swimmed in the Pacific ocean in the early spring storms. Riding my suicide board. I felt so free and helpless. I felt so small but safe."- I swam?

"I went to South and Central American. Stood at temples. I felt the power of the old Naguals."- South and Central America?

What a wonderful and beautiful and tiny and large world that we exist in. What wonderful experiences to share and put in poetic form!!!
I find it hard to believe that you never met anybody who wanted to die on all those grand adventures, seeing as I have known several without leaving time, but there is extraordinary truth, I find in the two preceding lines, about all parents loving their children and everybody wanting a bed in a home.

Nice poem. Nice way to look at the whole world.

Very true words. So much to see and so many souls to meet, all wanting the same things. It should be simple?

Thank you for the positive comment. We need to enjoy life and look for the good in a new days.
A good message, Coyote. If only more people could hear it. As a whole, humanity wants much the same; the basics of life, to live and be content. Too many, however, have given into greed. Their selfishness defines them and through it they warp and destroy everything around them.

Well written, my friend.
