A silent wish is visible, the wish of being together once again...
I really liked this piece of yours because this is one of the truest facts regarding a hello and a good bye...
I can well understand the feelings described here, almost like my poem 'i am gonna miss you'.
Very well written, simple words, good dedication. Mostly i love poems based on simple language and parts of lives. A SIMPLE 'HELLO!' CAN LEAD TO A MILLIONS OF THINGS... Especially, this can be felt when a best friend leaves, and this is really awesome as John understands the value of 'tears', and remembers Brigitte.. In many cases, people even forget their friends...
wonderful dedication... loved it....
one of the best pieces that i have read till now... tanks for sharing...

Thank you for reading and the kind words. I do appreciate.
One of my favorite things in your writing is that you are always talking to women. It's like peeking into intimate conversations, always emotionally charged, no matter the subject or tone.
Last line use either Hellos are or Hello is. But a wonderful piece, John. You always touch my heart.

Thank you my friend for reading. I appreciate the comment and help.
Those better endings are often hidden from us until it is too late.
The grass always seems greener on the other side, but rarely lives up to expectation. :))

"I left for war and new places, wanted drink and song over kind love.
You were so kind to me and you forgave me for running from you,
but I never forgave myself."
These aren't just words. They are a truck, heavily loaded, picking up speed downhill. Hard-hitting, and will undoubtedly leave a mark upon that which comes into contact with it.
The emotion is beautiful and subtle, you are lucky to have known her. Funny it takes separation, to understand appreciation - a lesson to the male/human species? Excellent, 'Yote.
