Firstly, I didn't know the singer or the song so, I listened twice. At first I found both music and lyrics depressing, then.. to my surprise began to understand the mood and intention of the lyrics, the more than unfettered tone of the singer. Thank you for allowing me to share that.
As to your poem, it has both dark thoughts yet - some lovely phrasing:
'My red and white roses are beginning to bloom,
the tulips are beautiful white trying to touch the clouds'
'Today I am waiting for the month of May.
Grandchildren need the lakes and the parks.
And I will burn sage for the living and I will burn sage for the dead,
near Lake St. Clair.'
That, sir, is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!

My Uncle died on my birthday last year. But St. Clare of Assisi was born on August 11. I live near the lake named, after her. Lake St. Clair. I still like April. My friend, my garden begin to grow and the son may come. Thank you for reading and the comment.
What an absolutely splendid read, all the away from start to finish!!! So beautifully written,!!! Love, family, spiritual, life and death....ohhhh but God and the Garden....makes it all worthwhile!

The cycle of life and the yielding of the seasons is the cadence of life.
Your poem is beautiful and reflective as it leads us to summer.

Such a beautiful song and poem. We have to accept our mortality don't we. It is hard to. We are born to die but also born to love. I am thankful for the people in my life that I love.

Hellos, good wee-tides-evioli,
I love the scene of the rain drizzle upon the droven-porth (roof-top) into the pavement.
There is a couple, and a coke place. Like the olden day, with a new car.
Marrianne loved April. Loved that. Waited till May.
Love the video, love the write, hon
