The midnight blues..

The midnight blues..

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Good jazz, good whiskey and time to think. A good night.

"
The midnight blues...
1- He loved the bones of her hand.
He loved to hold her hands and feel the hidden softness.
He adored her laughing eyes,
they made sleeping men come alive.
He knew, she saved him from himself and
he couldn't repaid her.
He told her, you are too kind to me.
What must I pay you?
She smiled and she told him.
My payment is our sea walks in the morning and drinking midnight whiskey with silence near us.
Love demand payment dear poet and my payment is.
You love me till the end of the days.
2- Old man drink the whiskey with a glass of water into the late night.
He sings the midnight blues to the night and
he write. Dead man poetry.
"Bit by bit,
pieces by pieces,
the negative world take us apart.
One day, we will see a stranger looking back in the mirror.
I asked myself. What is left of me?
Bit by bit,
pieces by pieces.
The angry world will kill our soul.

Life is too short.

I felt her bones in this.
Romance only breathes
love's unfulfilled desire
i always say.
True connection made.
Reflection make poetic
memories. Thank you.

Thank you Throwing Romeo for reading and the comment. I do appreciate.
Where there is love, the soul will not fester anger. Love reigns supreme . We live in harsh times, that’s why we have to work for the good and worthwhile. Investing time in those we love and those in need of love. Your poetry is really talking to me today my friend. I don’t look in mirrors anymore.

They do dear Chris.
ah, to love the bones of her hand...that is very specific love.
Don't let the angry world kill the soul...we just can't...as poets we have to keep hope.
The woman in the picture looks a little bit like Carly Simon back in the day.

Thank you Jacob. With love near. We can find perfection in the movement of our love.
Like the eros in part one, but part two cuts a bit too close to the bone. I have had that mirror experience myself.

The damn mirror won't lie my friend and thank you for reading and the comment.
Romance is always alive in your poetry despite the wicked and hateful world outside. It looks like you found the secret recipe for life.
Splendid!
