First new poem in a while..

                 Beautiful portraits...

I drew with my pen, beautiful places and beautiful faces to paper.

I keep alive kind memories, I keep alive the memories of the ancient cities,

I once saw.

I create with my pen, portraits of the great sea, I create wonderful portraits of the great forest.

I once visit.

And I draw with my pen, portraits of the Clinton river going into the Lake St. Clair.  

I try to remember the magic of the waterfalls that touched my skin once.

I try to remember the peace and quiet of a naked sea.

Where the moon and the star left me to swim in the beauty of the night.

I know. If I don't write down the kind, and gentle memories.

One day, they could be forgotten.

Today I paint my world with words of wonder and mystery.

I have learn. You must seek the places of beauty and

you must remember names and faces of our dear friends and lovers.

Today I know. We must seek the places of beauty, 

we must remember the beautiful faces.

To know peace, joy and happiness in a long life.
