A solace and a blessing.

A solace and a blessing.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

A young man poem. When love was your only purpose. Best days of a life.

"

A solace and a blessing.

.    .

The good cognac and German wines kept me in my woeful and  tranquil state.

I was lost, fainthearted and raging mad at life.

Death and dreams were shattered on eroded roads I can't remember.

I thought I was born to love.

My sacred love has languished my life.

And the tormented cure is my wrathful and oblivious soul that is left.

I lay in the sweat of shattered dreams wishing for nothing.

Old friend with tranquil smile asked me to walk with her.

She took me to the youth Hostel on the hill.

I would not look at her too long.

Her great beauty was too much now.

I was content to lose my freedom to beer and wine.

She told me I was falling down to hell and a woeful state.

I needed to find a refuge in her for a moment.

I looked at her beautiful face.

Her  soft and tender eyes were a solace and a blessing.

I told  her "I'm treacherous, a coward and lost my spirit to be alive."

Her answer was silent.

She took my hand and kissed them.

She whispered " Love is a two sided blade.

We must repent and vitalize new dreams or we shall die."

She took me to her small apartment.

She sat between my legs.

Her blue eyes asked  for nothing.

Her hands govern by gentleness and skill  eroded my wall of turbid and sad emotions.

Music of leonard Cohen mingle into the emotion of a sweet harmony.

Her sweet kisses  and her curvaceous body taunted my hunger to dance in the bliss of love.

Sweet Brigitte whisper "Real love is hopeful and beautiful."

She undressed slowly and she incited my soul to savvy in the heat of her succulent flesh.

I brought her close and I whispered "Come to me.

My heart is my enemy, discontent and full of sorrow and pain."

She sat on my lap and her perfect young body was so beautiful.

She got up and  walked away to her bedroom.

In the darkness and safety of her small apartment she called me to her.

Told me "True gifts of love require two people with the desire to create a moment of joy and pleasure for a time."

"Please Stay with me." She requested.

In the mist of the morning my repressed anger turn to tears.
She caressed my face with her tender hands and with kind words told me.
"We will be Ok my sweet love."

A lot of great thoughts and ideas here, I just enjoyed reading this. Well done.

I've cut and pasted a couple of lines I thought you need to look at, but beyond those, I thought this read beautifully.
"The good cognac and German wines keep me in my woeful and in a tranquil state."
" We must repent and vitalize new dreams or we shall died."

You just have these stowed away in a book from 30 years ago.
I've seen more like em.
This, the dance, the whole sha-bang speaks volumes of what a poet and subsequently Poetry itself, are. Timelessness. SInce I joined this site you have exuded a timelessness in your s**t that most people have to pay others to fix and get there.
There are machine gun blasts of emotion here. The anger into the care.
You manage to se the mood with music, that we only hear initiallyt then it fades but plays as background..even if it is Leonard Cohen.
Its a story, within a poem, within a story, within some picnic basket style cornocopia of sweetness.

"She took me to her small apartment.

She sat between my legs.

Her blue eyes asked for nothing.

Her hands govern by gentleness and skill eroded my wall of turbid and sad emotions. "

Seemingly listed, there are concrete, emotional and off the plane thoughts all wrapped into a four line power punch.
This is the gift you give to us every time/.

Absolutely beautiful. Not much else I can say. It flows gentlly, full of longing and sorrow. Beautiful images, soft and tender words. Magnificent.

She saw you, when you could not see yourself. These kind of special people are sent by Creator to carry us through rough times and bolster our spirit.
Thank you for sharing a beautiful experience in your life.

Beautiful. Shows sorrow and want; an offer of the seemingly unattainable, doubt then relinquishing of the agony. Maybe just maybe this is possible. Isn't that the way of things. We are our own worse enemies at times!

You had me within the first line of the poem as it meant a lot to see the way you saw things. Viewing through your eyes was something that I want to thank you for.

Slight typo: stanza 7 - "die" instead of "died"

"Tells me true gifts of love require two people with the desire to create a moment of joy and pleasure for a time.

Please Stay with me.

In the mist of the morning my repressed anger turn to tears.
She caresses my face and with words.
We will be Ok my sweet love."

Absolutely stunning these last few lines. The weight and genuine feeling that saturates these lines and also throughout your poetry is woefully beautiful. The heaviness and yet sweetness is a nice contrast. This is all relatable and so it touches a deep chord with the emotional heart. Bravo, sir. Another excellent piece.

FINE WRITE!! Reminds me of times past when I was gently "pulled back from the ledge" and walked with while I gained my bearings once again and hope I've learned to ask for assistance long before the darkness envelopes me avoiding the dark depressions when possible.
