My beautiful Daniela

My beautiful Daniela

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Sweet memories of youth.

"
My beautiful Daniela.

(Written when my heart and soul was alive and free to love without fear. Written in November 1978)

My world was wild and crazy.

I'm slow down by a look of beauty and softness.

Her blue eyes were clear as a early morning sky.

Her long blond hair was blowing in the gentle breeze by the small lake
on a warm Spring day.

Her white summer dress showed a perfect body in the warm Spring sun.

Her gift of a sweet smile left me wishing to know her name.

I followed her.

She stops. Told me. "I know you.

You are the laughing American."

I was known for my drinking and being a joker.

We walked together.

She told me all her dreams.

I told her my dreams.

Our hands felled together on a beautiful hot Spring day.

By the light of  candles and sweet red German wines we begin to learn to  love.

Soft kisses lead to passion and desires only seen by the darkness of the lonely  night.

Now I have my lady in dressed in white.

My lady who teaches  me to love being alive.

I'm complete for the first time.

My Daniela, always complete.

In clothing or waiting for me nude on our soft bed.

She is a gift to my eyes and heart.

She fulfilled my soul and spirit.

I bring her close.

Whisper. "You are my dream.

You would be my Angel in sweet dreams till life leave my body.

I love you my beautiful Daniela."

Coyote Poetry
A old poem. Youth is the sweetest wine. We need to swim in the mystery and passion of the opening of true love. Usually happen once once in a lifetime.

Line 26--You "will" be my Angel in sweet dreams till life "leaves" my body.

I just love poems and stories which refer to passion and intimate love in a respectful way. This poem was a joy to read and makes one reflect on that special love that may have found its way to our life. A beautiful and lovely write!

Wow, I love your writing. The ideas all blended together are amazing. I usually don't review poems, I'm more into lyrics.. but that sweeps me of my feet!

This is a very beautiful poem.
I like how you used a lot that appeals to the senses, it helps add to the poem.
"She is a gift to my eyes and heart." This is one of my favorite lines, I'm not sure why, but I think it's great.

This was so beautiful!
You can tell so easily that it flows straight from the heart, you use great sensory details and I honestly enjoyed reading it.
There's so little poems that spark with soul the way this one does, like a hearing a story by a fireplace, it touched me.

Makes me happy. There are places where we find beauty, and there are people that find ii in as well. Looks like you found one. I like the nostalgic tone, and the opening and closing. Gorgeous.

this poem to me, felt like less of a poem and more of a story, or piece of flash fiction if you will.

Here are a few things that struck me while reading it:
1- You've called in a poem, but there are no stanzas, therefore the rhythm flows from line to line.
2- The lines don't relate to the preceding lines. This is unusual to read though because this poem feels like a bag of bullet points.
3- Due the bullet points I think you should re-look the structure at some stage and consider turning this into a letter or a long prose (by bulking up each sentence with description).
4- Lastly this is just a personal opinion I have...no love poem should have the word passion and desire in it. Why? Well because of the warm-hearted atmosphere the reader is already soaked in, it is already clear that you do desire this person to be around you already (whether as an emotional bond, or for sex as well is up to the audience to decide).

In other words you don't need to be saying things like:
'We made love'
'Sex consumed us'
'We dove into lust'
'I was filled with desire'
and so on.

I've just always believed that romance can be achieved without describing it the same way as others might. The reason? Because your experiences feel real and unique to everyone else when you are in the moment...so why should we later recall it generically?

Anyway that's my two cents. (I'll stop before I start to ramble again, lol!)

Keep up the writing, and keep well ;)

*********************************************************************** Too Cool **************************
Similar to reminisce of latter in life and the memories of those times when
love filled out every desire and by happenstance she comes. This is a beautiful rendering of such a serendipitous affair of the petter patter of that dream.
Hey Coyote...

Too cool that after all these years that you hold the memory, yet able to hold on
to the poem. That is just so what bro... only one word can cover... 'romance'.
That young throws of passion you bring about so like a stream. That fuels passion
and the beating wings of two hearts. Did you marry this girl... or. Well with the
given taste and go ashore? lol I think its awesome, that your life and love in poetry go back that far. my 78 days were Rock Band days and kinda...
Bad Boy Foggy! Like Foghat...

Ha ha ha, I have to tell a thing about Ro, For a long time I wrote on any paper at hand. I don't think the toilet paper ones from a bathroom in Jasper Alberta about? I don't know or remember, how about Sandra... ya man that's the ticket...

Real nice tribute to young love. Enjoy it while it's happening, because it's fleeting. Great that you have something from so long ago!
