For a hero

When you give your life for another. These people are the Angels waiting in heaven.

Just a woman.
 
She gave her heart to people far from her home.
 
Stood in front of guns and machines to save lives.
 
Protecting innocent people from.
 
The War machine in the hidden parts of the world from the world's eye sight.
 
She stood in front of a building.
 
Was crushed and die by Israel machinery.
 
Her life was lost for woman/men.
 
Who call her the Beautiful American..

We can' t get blinded by hate. When the beaten dog because the abuser. Holding hate and death over another nation. Maybe the country need to look deeply at their goals. I pray for peace in the middle east. Rachel Corrie went with faith and love and die for strangers. She is a true hero we need to remember her and many more.

Coyote, thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. I have always supported Isreal and the Isareli people in their struggles. But his has brought to light a totally different situation then what most Americans understand and believe. I still support the people of Israel, but it is becoming more and more obvious that the government leaders are not to be trusted in anything they say or do.

War is so strange to me. It's unfathomable that people so small can take on the hate in the world head on, as though they were much bigger. While I myself feel as though war is not worth the trouble of anybody, and that the world is not ours to fight over, I have a deep respect for those who have the courage to put their lives on the line for their countries. I envy their courage.
