Can cry a tear

Can cry a tear

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

Old poetry. When heart was hopeful and strong.

 Can cry a tear

My heart still can a tear.

A tear of loneliness.
A loneliness of losing you completely.

I could of survive without your kiss.

But never see your beautiful face.
Blessing me with your knowledge and
your love of life.

Is much more difficult to forget.

Days have past since our parting day.
Your memory is tattoo on my heart and mind.

Sometime so heavy.
Even the thought of you can make me feel
weaken. Not to tears anymore.

The tears had faded away on a Winter night long ago when
I left you alone with tears and a final goodbye.

You are always on my mind.
I dreamed you came to my door.
Your beautiful blue eyes looking into my eyes.
I reach for you and I awake.

I cry a tear.
I realized when I left you on the cold Winter day.
It was the last time I could see the life in your eyes.

I wonder if the lady in this poem is she of "The Road", which I have recently read. You speak so fondly of the people in your past, I hope one day that I can be thought of as affectionately as you think of the people you have known. I hope that some day you find a way to share this poem with she about whom it was written. The line "Your memory is tattoo on my heart and mind" is my favourite of this piece. Those who touch us deeply touch us forever, and they all leave their marks.

This one has a lot of regretful pain in it. Leaving someone yet never really leaving them at all since they are forever in our hearts. A very moving and emotional piece. Fantastic writing!

It seems as though you have felt love many times throughout your life; how fortunate, for many haven't felt it at all, not true love anyway. What is sad the need to say goodbye... especially in winter when those nights are long and the chill touches the back collarbone. Life was in her eyes until the final goodbye... But we say goodbye to much during a lifetime, for destiny makes it crystal clear... I guess we're meant to cherish and move on until transcendence occurs...bittersweet yet outlined in the stars... Thanks for sharing the magic, Coyote. Merry Christmas.

Don't we all.
Such beauty in those eyes.. I can see why you would want to continue to journey there.. Sometimes we can go back and reflect on choices made and want to kick ourselves..but time alone has graced us with these moments of gold.. strategically placed where we needed it the most..x

this is an amazing old piece, it touches me. You know love is the master of emotions and bring all others along. Just as it brought tears in this peace. This is so wonderful a poem thanks for sharing.

I felt this so poignantly as I read. I can and did shed a tear because this poem is so beautiful :] Sometimes people walk into our lives and even if we are the ones that say goodbye they will always love them. They truely do leave a tattoo on your heart and mind. This poem is gorgeous. I see life as an open road but maybe its because I am young. I hope and pray that I always see life this way because I truely believe with every part of me that this is the absolute truth :] Every day is a adventure waiting to be descovered. I pray that you find a piece of renewed innocence to help you go back to thinking this way too. Thank you for the poem, 100
