Fragile

Fragile

A Poem by Caustic_Dystopia

You say that you’ll never give up on us,
but I feel as though we’re turning to dust

spinning around as the wind fiercely blows.
The love that was bright no longer glows.

We’re starting to lose the love that we found.
I was happy, I smiled, but now I just frown.

Though my heart is still beating
you’ve cracked it, it's bleeding.

I’m told every day to leave you behind,
but it’s easier said than done when you’re the only guy on my mind.

Just tell me I’m paranoid and imagining it all
that it wasn’t a mistake when I let myself fall.
