Waiting For Spring

Waiting For Spring

A Poem by Celine
"

Just a really short poem...

"

They will never understand the pain that lies within

Her thoughts and feelings covered up by a façade that seem so real to the human eye, so pure

Yet, it is still a façade, a mask that is put on to shield her from others

She’s afraid, afraid of being hurt again

She still feels as lost as solemn as the day he died

The day she just sat at the lifeless body's side

She sits by her bedroom window feeling emotionless, watching the winter snowflakes gracefully fall to the floor waiting for spring to come.

Transitions. From a loss to renewal. From death to breathing again. Moving on seems impossible, but being human means being vulnerable, and accepting that is part of life. I admire the comparison between winter and spring. Emotionless; numb, in winter. Possibly renewal in the spring.

Well done ! Cheers !

That's very impressive! How the combination of love, feelings, pain n hurt you gathered n pasted with the words at the right place in the poem to let your feelings express how much a love can hurt if we love the love the way we live!

Keep up the great work!

Thanks a mil!! ^^
Sometimes the winter is IN the mind for the rest of life... and the spring never comes. Loss and how we deal ...is seldom a "given".
