Chapter 59:Taming Flames

Chronos jeered on back

As he entered the burning bazaar.

“So he finally appears,” one jested on back.

“So you jokers are the ones

That they had sent to come after me,

I killed the slaying goddess herself.

Anyways, stop wasting my time

And already die for crying out loud!”

With that, Chronos stepped through time

Slashing at Smaragos as he fell crippled

Moving on to Suntribos

Who was still wisest of all four

And braced himself for Chronos’

Assault, blocking the blow

Attempting to perry but Chronos wasn’t

Having any of that as he threw in a punch

All of his own, sending Suntribos flaying back

As Omodamos moved on into the clash

Trying to defend his brothers in battle

Along with advancing upon Chronos

Who in turn bounced out of the area,

Sabactles, who had ignited the fire originally

And was working on keeping it going

Allowing for no outsider to come and aid the prey

Even though that was backfiring on them

Rapidly enough.
