There is a Pain

There is a Pain

A Poem by Chad Hollingsworth
"

Just another rambling.

"

There is a pain that knows my name,
Upon my life it stakes its claim,
I cannot change its dark disdain,
But my hope in Him cannot be slain.
To see the hurt of selfish wrought,
And know of hate that I've not sought,
There is but one thing that faith can do
To live with love and pay its due,
I ought not hold my own and smile,
Pretend not see the hate so vile,
Instead we conquer hate with love,
Believe in Him and sight the dove.
For when it comes to push and shove,
The hate is killed by surrendered love.
