The Gift of Pain

Why should I feel
if only I hurt?
Why should you care
when you only desert?
Why am I here,
for sorrow and pain?
Why are you here,
to place me as the blame?
Is tomorrow my last day
or will I continue on?
I wish I could die
but the hurt will carry on.
Maybe this hurt can
attach itself to you.
If it's the right thing,
then that's what I will do.
