Landscape

Landscape

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

To one who's name is written in the faint perfume upon my neck...............

"

To one who's name is written in the faint perfume upon my neck

Your hands gently tend my landscape with their caress
Each and every flower, you gracefully bedeck
In the richest warmth of your undress

You move your morning breezes into the darkness of my night
Until I no longer know the season or present year
Time is of no essence within my sight
Of warmth or cold, I have no fear

To one who's name is written on every single line of my heart
In your ink flowing from the radiance of our eternal sun
Your hands tend my landscape in a world apart
Marked on a calendar of none

The cares of life, waft into silent pieces as they come to light
When your morning breeze moves upon my flowers
Each one you tend with your hand's sight
Forgets these cares of ours

To one who's name is written in my eyes as my master gardener
My flowers will always seek the ink flowing from our sun
My landscape will be your garden harbor
From your breezes, I will never run

Neva, you have a way with sensualness that is awe inspiring love! This is truly epic! No faults, no tide I could not swim to read this! That is how beautiful your work is to me love!
The person who has bestowed such emotion would only dream of reading such sentiment back!
Not only is there immersion in that here but the metaphor used for it is simply divine!

You may not understand this but, "I got to stay in the Hotel kitten, Billy, goodnight", this reminds me of one of my favorite movies, "Breakfast on Pluto".

"Each and every flower, you gracefully bedeck / In the richest warmth of your undress." That line is a poem unto itself, Neva. When your warmth flows in full measure, the sun has nothing on you. Beautiful.

Once again another great poem. Like another reviewer said you have a way with sensualility that just pulls the reader in. Great work.

I completely adore and feel for this poem. The calm intensity and compelling words just draws you in. Your writing style and imagination of metaphors and poetic similes blow me away. I especially like the lines:
"To one who's name is written on every single line of my heart
In your ink flowing from the radiance of our eternal sun"
I love these two lines. An amazing write and enjoy to read. Stunning. :)

one can literally get lost within your words...escaping and flowing with each emotional thought you express...a very expressive, and creative work Neva...

Love can overcome... you really captivate the romantic in me.

This poem I love almost excessively, comparing love to a garden, touches to breezes, it all flows so well I could cry . . . I like the rhymes as well, they complete the mystical essence of the story you tell. This one's going in my library. ~ BlackCl0ud
