![]() The relutant poetA Poem by Cherrie![]() Peyton and I write at night![]() The reluctant poet, I have made from a child’s pain. "Peyton my love let me see the words your pen has made." Long ago when I was small my mom ran away. “Honey-Lamb let’s not write sad, but think how this one thing will forever leave you changed.” So line two soon did read: when I’m a mommy I will never leave, and play with my babies and teach them to read. “Bravo,” said I with a kiss and a hug. “that’s enough poetry” I said with a tear that I try to hide. © 2015 CherrieFeatured Review
