Cobbled Steps

Cobbled Steps

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

for picture contest

"

Cobbled steps smoothed by time

In gentle greys my bare feet climb

A splash of red has always been

As geraniums bloom over head

Somewhere else in a city large

Those in a hurry are lost in traffics sounds

While we are lulled by the sound of ocean waves

I frolic free bringing mother the catch of the day

Thank you:)
I truly enjoyed this delightful poem which I thought fit well with this week's given image. I imagine my son bring home his 'catch of the day'. Serene imagery; thank you for your entry into the Picture Poem This Contest 2 entry!
