Just a Boy

Just a Boy

A Poem by Earthy Mumma Soul

He's a boy who wants to be a man
I'm just a girl who's already a woman
his spiderman T-shirts inspire me
I want to get into his little house
and play with him, playing together

I love his warmth
and his generosity
and he also has this strong manly presence
that makes me surrender a little in my skin,
 makes eyes soft

His loving me  slowly breaks me down
even my Will steps aside for this one,
he loves the girls heart and her skin
he is the girl and I am the boy
we see the truth and smile
unwinding more each time
we're going backwards to untangle
so can go forwards
its not even exactly in our control really
it's just unfolding in that way
I give strength and wisdom this is true
he gives me himself , his heart
in his eyes I see
what I need to see
I feel that I can trust him, so then the new is born

he has the best smile, it's wide and just so super cute
just have to say that
Love his smile ..

When I look into his eyes
 I see that
he knows he's taken a risk
and that its not a mistake
but still a risk none the same
I love a man like that
gets right in the middle
and flowers and blooms
right here in my heart
where else would I wanna be

Wow. This is such a heartfelt piece, without being "too much" or "soppy". It's real....your words are real here. You actually lift the reader into your world, like all good writers...right from the opening line....it reminds me of playschool where we have our first encounters....boy meets girl. And then the final lines are beautiful....:) "I see that he knows he's taken a risk......"
Great write..
