Serenity

Serenity

A Poem by Cheryl J. Turner

Serenity

Deep state of bliss

Eyes turned inward

Watching

Flow of words

Droplets upon the keys of the piano

Scream lyric

Breathe deep

Fallen calm

Clocks neglect to tick

Bells do not chime

Rhythm vibrates

From head down to toe

Up, down, back again

Brush of lucidity

Breathe deep

Fade to grey

Spill colour

Silence

and it is done

Ahhh. This was...a calming poem, for me. :)
Liked your choice of words and structure. I always like to pay close attention to structure, as it determines how I read it and how smoothly it reads. I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
