Recognition

Recognition

A Poem by Cheryl J. Turner

A frozen breeze

to push through the bones of lovers past

Expectant silence

Cast a heavenly glance

Dare we witness

As shadows wander by

The depth of recognition

Another me

Who is she

Such discovery afoot

Strike a deal against reality

Great love to come

A life yet to be led

. ah, beautiful ... and so inspirational ... every word and every line reaches my core ... am overwhelmed and moved ... but that last line moves me to tears ... "a life yet to be led" ... you're right ... i needed to read these words ... i needed to know this and to feel this ...

Seems to be a poem about a re-awakening, a new self emerging, a burying of the past in favour of a 'great love to come'.

I hope so
