Hope

Hope

A Poem by Cheryl J. Turner

I'd like to take this time to say,

I never loved you anyway

And if you'd listen

I'd write a note

In hope, yes, hope

That you'd have a care

Of the way I fix my hair

And the work to keep it there

All the times I cried and lied

The lions den of our two lives

I'd like to take the time to say,

It doesn't matter anyway

You came, you saw

Claimed to adore

And if you'd listen

Just one time

There would be nothing left to say,

Anyway

there's always hope but in a relationship it take two so in this piece I can see the hope of coming to terms that it will work out it's an everyday struggle for two to become one.
