Steady Falling

Steady Falling

A Poem by Devan McKinley

Can I jump into those eyes,
and just waste a little time?
Escape the world for a minute.
Let's get caught up in it.

Compare the corners of our brains.
You'll find that some things look the same.
And the direction of our minds,
When dreams fall out of line.

Dark circles from late nights.
The camera always in our sights.
Can't help but laugh and smile much.
Can't wait to cuddle, kiss and touch.
