Rejected Love

Rejected Love

A Poem by Chidoriflower

Mist envelopes your tall, dark form
Eyes as black as night
Nothing devours it, not even the worm
In this void you are the light
The ground drinks my bloody tear
While I scream your name
Only you could hear
My love for you is still the same
The moon rises as I fall
And suddenly I realize when you smiled
You did not care for me at all

Thank you ever so much!!! :D :D :D
This poem is wonderful. It is stirring with emotions from the deepest fortress inside us all. Here the connection to our most guarded underbellies is laid bare. BRAVA!

Thank you for your graciousness! :)
Amazing! *.* I love the word choice and the flow of this poem, as well as the picture it conveys in my minds eye.
Well done! ^^
