Gravel.

Gravel.

A Poem by Chloe Madison Taylor.
"

This blacktop isnt big enough for the both of us.

"

With a simple reply I feel the knots begin to untie

But I let the thought go because it was never mine to begin with.

I still find myself between those thick knees.

fingers through your shiny hair

and tongue between your slightly crooked teeth.

I never noticed the stars taking flight before tonight.

If I had a car I'd drive for four thousand years,

drain the earths resources without even switching gears.

Author's Note

Chloe Madison Taylor.
Biology suckssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
I still dont know what to do with it. Blah blah blah.
I want to leave it as is but i have a feeling ive still got more that needs to go into it.

I am cool, too cool to call you.
Far too stoned to leave my bed.
Ill write this song to win your kiss,
but stay asleep instead.

i like the places your mind goes- you inspire me.

nobody captures the beautiful, sick, fun, twisted, sad and lonely nature of life and love the way you do.

But I let the thought go because it was never mine to begin with.
i love the way you invent new ways to portray this same feeling that keeps haunting you.
same boy i suppose.
i always look forward to reading your new work, and i like the way this one is particularly short which for some reason portrays a symbolic meaning.
like he won't get out of your head, so you have to write something down, but before your pencil's done on the page, you take it away because you're tired of thinking about this all the time.
not sure if that's the case, just i hypothesis, i suppose.
