JAB. CAT.

JAB. CAT.

A Poem by Chloe Madison Taylor.
"

josh. cole.

"

Dishing out the last of the dreams I had stashed under my lids

drowning the last of my pulluted senses , one piss colored drink at a time

Until I can't even hear my mother pounding on the door anymore

or maybe it was the bass all along

making my pencil shavings dance

and me along with them.

On my knees, but your the one that got fucked

stuck in the cold and an unfortunate amount of ambivalence.

Why am I doing this?

Because I screamed and swore until my eyes watered

the knots in my stomach begged me to stop

my nails clawed into my cold, sweaty flesh

and I promised that I would not blame myself anymore.

Author's Note

Chloe Madison Taylor.
So it was originally about Josh.
And then somehow it turned into my brother.

I love your honesty.
It really shines.

Even though this is angsty, it's still artful.
A hard mix to pull off.

Intense!!! I wish it were longer but I believe I know where you were going. You did a great job at capturing the moment and describing that moment in detail and clarity. Very vivid account. It's dope.....
