![]() SnowA Poem by Christina May Shanaberg![]() A compliment to the poem "Rain!"![]() SNOW
Weightless, as a molecule; So wet and cool; Fresh and pure white clean; A wonder to be seen; Drifting, endlessly, to earth; The whole world covered with A blanket softer than velvet, Gleaming, in the sunlight; Blue, beneath the moon; Like cotton, to walk on; Tinkles, as priceless crystal; Each flake so minutely small, With a lacey pattern, all its own; Here, one day and the next, all gone; Nibbling at each reddening nose, As, shh, silently it snows. © 2010 Christina May ShanabergReviews
