Broken Promises

Another Poem

I feel broken

Like glass dropped to the floor,

Shattered, scattered about,

I'm not who I was anymore.

 

You made so many promises,

Told me so many things, making all feel right,

But one day things changed,

and they went to dark from light

 

I want to keep my promises,

the Ones I've faught to keep,

but after I realized, you lied

Then I know I can't be beat.

 

You may have ment every word of it,

truely stood for how you felt,

but if that is true, then,

why did you push me, or leave me to melt?

 

Yet

Deep down I know I will no break

those promises you know I liked to make

Because I will never hurt you

Broken Promises, is just what you do.

excellent poem! but read it through again cuz there were a few mistakes like 'faught' instead of 'fought'! anyway good job!
